Chapter 4 - The reality of the spiritual realm

About this chapter

This fascinating chapter deals with spiritual issues that have never been published in English before. Based upon his studies of the teachings of Sukyo Mahikari, Dr Tebecis describes that matter consists of three types of cells – spiritual, astral and physical cells. Mainstream science so far has information only on physical cells. In addition, behind the forehead, in the depths of the human brain, is an invisible area that is the location of the soul. Similarly, all existence can be broadly viewed as consisting of a trinity – the divine world, the astral world and the physical world – which are intimately interwoven and inter-communicating.

Through practising the art of True Light and studying the divine teachings, the author has built up experiences that point out the actual existence of spirits (including ones attached to people’s bodies), and some of the phenomena that occur in the astral world, the realm after death. His experience of giving True Light to the body of his father, who died at the age of 74, is a vivid account of how purifying with the Light of God shortly after death, can help the ‘deceased’ person.

It is clear that spirits attached to people influence the people in various ways – their personalities, moods, habits and diseases, to name a few. It seems that most problems are due to spirits. Fortunately, spirits can be helped by the Light of God and the practice of certain teachings. These matters apply to all people.

There is also a section on ancestor spirits. Many modern-day people have dismissed the importance of ancestors altars, considering this an outmoded tradition practised only in certain Asian countries. However, the experiences given by the author show that certain basic principles about ancestor spirits apply to all kinds of people, including westerners.

The chapter concludes with some academic research on death and spirit phenomena, particularly by people who have studied near-death experiences. Clearly, reputable researchers (medical doctors, psychologists, neuroscientists) are confirming again and again with increasing conviction, that there is life after death, in other words, that consciousness survives clinical death.

Comments from a reader

"I have read many books about spiritual phenomena, but it was not always possible for me to know whether the information was reality or opinion. This is why I am impressed with Dr Tebecis' new book and Sukyo Mahikari, as it is possible to gain clear and repeated evidence for the actual existence of spirits. It is also amazing to see how spirits influence all aspects of life's activities, and what can be done to improve the situation.

Dr Tebecis has written a very fine book that would be interesting and helpful to probably everyone. This includes a political scientist like me as well as politicians who are making efforts to settle international disputes and to bring world peace.

I also found the book enjoyable to read. The author's academic credibility and rich experience with Sukyo Mahikari were reassuring."
